THE WHY

The goal of Läuft is to empower as many people as possible to make positive changes in their lives.

THE PHILOSOPHY

Läuft is a northern German slang word and stands for “Everything is going great”. If you were to ask a northern German how they are, and they responded with “Läuft”, you can be assured they are feeling their best. We thought Läuft would be a great metaphor to describe our vision of helping people with their personal development.

THE VALUES

Values are like signposts. They help guide you through life every time you are faced with difficult decisions. They ensure you are living authentically and in line with what is most important to you. Whilst values can change over time as we go through life’s ups and downs, they are a reflection of your own identity. Of the many values out there, the below support our WHY and attitude towards life.

Embracing Yourself

You are an inimitable individual and born exactly the way you should be! It is important that you do not compare yourself to others and learn to embrace your unique personality. This means not taking yourself too seriously, accepting that you have weaknesses, respecting yourself, trusting yourself, being kind to yourself when things don't go perfectly, stop doubting yourself, and drawing boundaries around what is important to you.

Living deliberately

Live life on your terms! This value guides us in living the life we want rather than letting life simply happen to us. How often have you made plans but ended up not pulling through? You may have been eager to exercise more, eat healthier, start your own business, or raise issues with your spouse, but then ended up falling into the same old patterns of comfort. Living deliberately is supposed to remind us to actively think about why we are doing what we are doing and guide our actions towards our goals rather than running on auto pilot. Time is our most precious asset. Don't waste it.

Loving Life

Loving live is all about perspective! We often get caught up in negative thoughts as we are wired this way. In these situations, choosing gratitude for the things we DO have rather than thinking about the things we DON’T, goes a long way. This value is all about developing a “glass half-full” attitude and not worrying about the things you cannot control. Every day, practice thinking about the good things you have in life, and realise how small some issues actually are in the grant scheme of things. After all, we are only stardust in a universe no one truly understands.
